GEARS

Wildlife photography often requires patience, preparation, and reliable equipment. Over the years, I have built a gear setup that allows me to photograph everything from distant wildlife and birds in flight to close-up details in nature.

While great images are ultimately created through observation, fieldcraft, and an understanding of animal behavior, the right equipment helps me capture moments that might otherwise be missed. My gear is selected for its versatility, image quality, and ability to perform in challenging outdoor conditions.

Its superb optics and telephoto field of view produce beautiful portraits with softly blurred backgrounds, and its near-silent autofocus pulse motor (utilizing stepping motors) makes it a great choice for HD video recording.
